The price here is pretty competitive to stores. I usually get mine from Imperfect Foods, my local grocers don't carry it yet.
$8.99 gets you 12 oz of Impossible Ground, not a pound, they reduced the package size (I was fooled too until I looked). A pound is 16 oz, so 5 pounds is 80 oz.
Per ounce at Imperfect, you pay about ($0.75), which is around what they are offering here ($0.8/oz). You'd pay about $2 more here for around the same quantity of food, give or take an ounce.
