The Planted Chef Challenge: Bakery Edition is the first challenge in our new series! We’re excited to highlight independent bakeries across the country who will be using ForA: Butter to “veganize” one of their best-selling baked goods. This campaign supports our mission: to make plant-based eating more sustainable, affordable, and accessible nationwide. 

Whether it’s a cake, cookie, waffle, or something else delicious, we can’t wait to see what these bakeries create!

Oui Pastries | Starburst Parlor | Pop Goes the Waffle | Baked AF

Oui Pastries | Philadelphia

Oui Pastries will be making a rich “Chocolate Flower Pot” with chocolate cake, balsamic dark chocolate ganache, strawberries and a chocolate shortbread.

Starburst Parlor | Las Vegas

Starburst Parlor is making Mexican Hot Chocolate Brownies with three types of chocolate with hints of cinnamon and topped with toasted pecans, drizzled in chocolate, and dusted with sweet and spicy chipotle powder. They are 100% plant-based, sugar-free and gluten free. 

Pop Goes the Waffle |Tampa Bay

Pop Goes the Waffle will be serving up a Vegan Liege Waffle topped with melted ForA: Butter, cinnamon sugar, sliced fresh banana, vegan caramel sauce and vegan whipped cream. 

Baked AF | Cleveland

Baked AF is creating a Vegan Toaster Strudel featuring ForA: Butter, JUST egg, Field Roast sausages, and Daiya cheese.

ForA:Butter is a Michelin-starred chef endorsed, plant-based butter. It bakes, cooks, spreads and tastes like butter does, and can be used 1:1 in every cooking application. It is non-GMO, cholesterol-free, lower sodium, and a 2x longer shelf life than traditional dairy butter.
